ជម្លោះតំបន់ព្រំដែនកម្ពុជា-ថៃ ដើម្បីស្វែងយល់អំពីមតិសាធារណៈ និងការយល់ឃើញរបស់ប្រជាជនកម្ពុជា ជាពិសេសចំពោះចំណាត់ការរបស់រាជរដ្ឋាភិបាលកម្ពុជា ក្នុងការដោះស្រាយជម្លោះតំបន់ព្រំដែនជាមួយភាគីថៃ។ AVI បានធ្វើការប្រមូលទិន្នន័យបឋមតាមរយៈប្រព័ន្ធអនឡាញ និងសម្ភាសន៍ដោយផ្ទាល់ជាមួយប្រជាជនចំនួន ១.៥៨៨ នាក់ ដែលក្នុងនោះមានអ្នកឆ្លើយសំណួរជា យុវជន វ័យកណ្តាល និងវ័យចំណាស់ មកពីមជ្ឈដ្នានផ្សេងៗគ្នា រួមមានពលករក្នុង និងក្រៅស្រុក បុគ្គលិកឯកជន មន្ត្រីរាជការ និស្សិត ក្រុមផ្សេងៗ និងអាជីវករ។
លទ្ធផលសំខាន់ៗនៃការស្ទាបស្ទង់មតិខាងលើនេះ បានបង្ហាញថា៖
១. ប្រជាជនកម្ពុជាច្រើនលើសលប់ (ជាង៩៣,៦%) ពេញចិត្តចំពោះចំណាត់ការទូទៅរបស់ រាជរដ្ឋាភិបាលកម្ពុជាក្នុងការដោះស្រាយជម្លោះព្រំដែនកម្ពុជា-ថៃ។
២. ប្រជាជន ៩៩,៨% គាំទ្រដល់រាជរដ្ឋាភិបាលកម្ពុជាក្នុងការដោះស្រាយជម្លោះព្រំដែននៅតំបន់ មុំបី ប្រាសាទតាមាន់ធំ ប្រាសាទតាមាន់តូច ប្រាសាទតាក្របី តាមយន្តការតុលាការយុត្តិធម៌អន្តរជាតិ (ICJ)។ ក្នុងនោះដែរ ប្រជាជនបានផ្តល់តម្លៃលើការចរចាទ្វេភាគី (២៩.៣%) ដរាបណាមានការតភ្ជាប់ជាមួយតុលាការ ICJ ហើយប្រជាជនកម្ពុជាតិចតួចប្រមាណ ១.១% មានជំនឿលើការប្រើប្រាស់យន្តការទ្វេភាគីដែលមានស្រាប់តែមួយមុខ។ ក្នុងចំណោមអ្នកចូលរួមក្នុងសម្រង់មតិខាងលើ ស្ទើរតែគ្មាននរណាម្នាក់ (ប្រមាណ០.២%) បានជ្រើសរើសមាគ៌ា សង្គ្រាម។
៣ ប្រជាជនកម្ពុជា ៨៨,៧% ពេញចិត្តចំពោះចំណាត់ការបិទព្រំដែនរបស់រាជរដ្ឋាភិបាលកម្ពុជាក្នុងការឆ្លើយតបចំពោះការបិទព្រំដែនជាឯកតោភាគីដោយយោធាថៃ។ លើសពីនេះ ប្រជាជនកម្ពុជា ៨៨,៦% គាំទ្រការប្រើប្រាស់ទំនិញក្នុងស្រុក។
៤. ប្រជាជនកម្ពុជា ៧៣,៨% ជឿថាទំនាស់ព្រំដែននេះបង្កដោយយោធាថៃ ហើយ ២៣,១% ជឿថាបង្កដោយពួកជាតិនិយមជ្រុលថៃ ហើយប្រជាជនកម្ពុជាយល់ថារដ្ឋាភិបាលថៃមានអំណាចតិចតួចនៅក្នុងឥទ្ធិពលនៃការគ្រប់គ្រងរដ្ឋរបស់ថៃ។
៥. ឆ្លើយតបចំពោះវិធានការដាក់កងកម្លាំងប្រដាប់អាវុធឱ្យត្រៀម២៤ម៉ោងលើ២៤ម៉ោង ប្រជាជនកម្ពុជា ៩៥,៨% គាំទ្របុព្វហេតុការពារជាតិរបស់កងយោពលខេមរភូមិន្ទ ដើម្បីត្រៀមទប់ស្កាត់ និងឆ្លើយតបចំពោះការឈ្លានពានរបស់យោធាថៃ។ ជារួម តាមរយៈការស្ទាបស្ទង់មតិខាងលើនេះ AVI អាចធ្វើការសន្និដ្ឋានបានថារាជរដ្ឋាភិបាលកម្ពុជាជាប្រទេសឯករាជ្យ អធិបតេយ្យ មានភាពម្ចាស់ការ និងមានបទពិសោធន៍ចាស់ទុំផ្នែកនយោបាយ មានយុទ្ធសាស្ត្រគ្រប់ជ្រុងជ្រោយស៊ីជម្រៅ និងវែងឆ្ងាយក្នុងការដោះស្រាយជម្លោះតំបន់ព្រំដែនជាមួយថៃ។ លើសពីនេះ ប្រជាជនកម្ពុជាទូទៅគាំទ្រ និងចូលរួមជាមួយរាជរដ្ឋាភិបាលកម្ពុជាក្នុងការចាត់វិធានការដោះស្រាយជម្លោះតំបន់ព្រំដែនជាមួយថៃ ដោយទទួលបានព័ត៌មាន និងការពន្យល់ច្បាស់លាស់ ត្រឹមត្រូវ និងម៉ឺងម៉ាត់ពីមេដឹកនាំកម្ពុជា។ ក្នុងន័យនេះ កម្ពុជាជ្រើសរើសយកដំណោះស្រាយដោយសន្ដិវិធី ផ្អែកលើច្បាប់អន្តរជាតិ ជាពិសេស តាមរយៈយន្តការតុលាការយុត្តិធម៌អន្តរជាតិ (ICJ) ដើម្បីថែរក្សាសន្ដិភាព មិត្តភាព និងកិច្ចសហប្រតិបត្តិការល្អ ជាមួយប្រទេសជិតខាង និងសម្រាប់ជាឧត្តមប្រយោជន៍ពិតប្រាកដរបស់ប្រជាពលរដ្ឋនៃប្រទេសទាំងពីរកម្ពុជា-ថៃ។
On 17 June 2025, the Asia Vision Institute (AVI) conducted an opinion survey on the Cambodia-Thailand border area disputes to develop an understanding of the public opinion and perceptions of Cambodian people, particularly on the Royal Government of Cambodia (RGC)’s actions in resolving the border area disputes with Thailand. AVI collected primary data via online communications means and interview with a total of 1,588 participants, including young age, middle age and old age, coming from diverse backgrounds including domestic and foreign workers, private sector, government officials, students, business and other groups.
The key results of the opinion survey showed that:
- The overwhelming majority of Cambodian people (over 93.6%) are satisfied with the RGC’s actions in resolving the Cambodian-Thailand border area disputes.
- 99.8% of the Cambodian people totally support the RGC in resolving the border disputes in the areas of Mom Bei, Ta Moan Thom Temple, Ta Moan Tauch Temple, and Ta Krabei Temple through the International Court of Justice (ICJ) mechanism. Among those, Cambodian people (29.3%) value bilateral negotiations as long as they are connected with the mechanism of ICJ, and there is a small percentage of Cambodian people, approximately 1.1%, believe in using the existing bilateral mechanisms. Among all participants, almost none (approximately 0.2%) supports war.
- 88.7% of Cambodian people are satisfied with the RGC’s border closure in response to the unilateral border closure by the Thai military. In addition, 88.6% of Cambodian people support the consumption of local products.
- 73.8% of Cambodian people believe that the border disputes were provoked by the Thai military, and 23.1% believe that they were provoked by extremist Thai nationalists, and Cambodian people believe that the government of Thailand has little power in governing the state of Thailand.
- In response to the measures to put the armed forces on full alert 24 hours a day, 95.8% of Cambodian people support the national defense cause of the Royal Cambodian Armed Forces (RCAF) in preparing to defend and respond to the invasion from Thai military.
In overall, based on the above opinion survey, AVI can conclude that RGC possesses independence, sovereignty, ownership, and mature political experience, with a comprehensive, in-depth and far-sighted strategy in resolving the border area disputes with Thailand. In addition, the Cambodian people generally support and join hand with the RGC in taking actions to resolve the border area disputes with Thailand by receiving clear, accurate, and solid information and explanations from Cambodian leaders. In this connection, Cambodia chooses a peaceful solution based on international law, particularly through the mechanism of the International Court of Justice (ICJ), to maintain peace, friendship, and good cooperation with the neighboring countries for the concrete tangible benefits of the two people of Cambodia and Thailand.
