Marine biodiversity is a vital resource for all life on Earth. It significantly contributes to people’s livelihoods, economic prosperity, social well-being, and quality of life. Globally, it is estimated that around three billion people rely directly on marine and coastal biodiversity for a living.
The fifteenth session of the AVI-SDGs Dialogue Series on “Sustainable Marine Ecosystem Management in Cambodia” will highlight Cambodia’s progress and challenges in achieving marine conservation for Sustainable Development. Prominent leaders and researchers working in the related field will be invited as our honourable speakers for this session.
