Strengthening Asia-Europe Economic Diplomacy

Economic diplomacy is now more essential than ever as a tool to ensure that the spirit of multilateralism remains persistent in the pursuit of mutual benefits for all, particularly as the world is gradually recovering from the COVID-19 pandemic. Accordingly, this policy brief recommends the resumption of the ASEAN-EU FTA negotiation and places an emphasis on innovation and digitalisation and pragmatism for modern diplomacy.
