Soft power is a new concept in modern diplomacy that allows small states to utilise their resources to their advantage. Therefore, it is smart diplomacy for Cambodia to promote its national interest in the international arena. Based on the country’s resources and contexts, Cambodia can achieve soft power by enhancing cultural, economic, peace, and digital diplomacy.
