As 2019 came to an end, many people around the world excitedly

prepared for the new year 2020, which marks the beginning of a new decade. Similarly, many people in Cambodia were also excited about the opportunities to improve their lives in the upcoming decade. They organised fireworks and celebrations at various venues to celebrate their achievements in 2019 and to prepare them for the betterment of life and work in the year 2020 and beyond. In the blink of an eye, AVI is almost one year old, and we conducted our first Annual Staff Meeting to celebrate our success in 2019 and to renew our commitments to excel as a leading think tank in Cambodia and the region.
